Groundwire by Acrobits is an advanced softphone that can be downloaded and installed from the Groundwire Google Play page or the Apple Store.
To setup calling, you have to find your way to Accounts list. This can be done either by clicking the oval shaped account list in the top left corner, then choosing "Manage Accounts" at the bottom or by clicking the 3 dots in the top right corner, choosing Settings then Accounts. In the list of accounts, there is a (usually green) + button in the bottom right corner, which you click, then choose "New SIP Account" at the top, right next to the green SIP. Pick a "Title" for the account so that you can differentiate it from other future or existing accounts, such as "EZvoip 1". Enter then the data from your Welcome Email, more precisely, YourUserID, YourPassword and domain.
In Advanced Settings you can pick the outgoing Caller ID as well as other advanced options such as stereo recording of conversations.
To enable SMS, go to "Settings > Accounts > [EZvoip 1] > Advanced Settings" 2. Enable "Simple" under "Messaging" 3. Disable "Delivery Notifications" which sends messages as "Message/CPIM". This option only appears after "Simple" is enabled.
To enable TLS (which must be first enabled on your subaccount by us):
Open the advanced settings of the account to configure for TLS:
Settings -> Accounts -> [EZvoip 1] -> Advanced Settings
Once in Advanced Settings:
Set Transport Protocol to “tls (sip)”
Go in Secure calls setting.
In the SEDS (RFC 4568) section, set both Incoming Calls and Outgoing Calls to “Required”.
Validate all these changes, and your secured call connection (TLS) should register as expected.
We will soon have a more detailed install guide.
