Can I use the ATA from another VoIP provider?

We do not place any restrictions on the device you use - you can bring any device to use with our service. However, other VoIP providers, much like cell phone providers, may choose to restrict or "lock" their devices so that they can only be used with their service. Also like with cell phones, these devices may be "unlockable" but we cannot make any guarantee - Google is your friend.

If you have such a device, we recommend you test our service first with a softphone on your computer or an app on your smartphone and then try setting up your ATA to see if it works.
